In an unbelievable showing of support for Star Group-Veterans Helping Veterans and all veterans, Mr. Robert Howell (Artist) donated a painting to be awarded during our 4th Annual Independence Day Picnic Celebration. The recipient of the prestigious painting was Mr. John Footman of the Purple Heart Association. The photo painted was of Mr. Footman in uniform during the Vietnam Era. On August 10, 2012, at the front entrance of Darnall Army Medical Center the portrait was presented to Mr. Footman by Mr. Robert Howell (Artist) and Mr. John Robertson (Vice President SG-VHV). This is also site of the upcoming POW/MIA Ceremony on September 21, 2012
