Star Group – Veterans Helping Veterans supported ST. JAMES LODGE #71 Adopt-A-School Effort with a monetary donation and school supplies were donated by a SG-VHV Executive Committee member, Mr. Stanley Davis. As part of the SG-VHV mission, we collaborate with organizations focused on making a positive effort to support the veteran and their families within our communities.
When Mr. Davis brought the idea for SG-VHV to support this mission, he displayed such passion about helping area children so they could have the basic supplies to function in school. There are so many children of Veterans that do not have the necessary supplies to equip them to be successful in the classroom.
This gallant effort of St. James Lodge #71 was one SG-VHV was ready to support.
After Mr. Karl Briddell presented the goals and vision of this project to several of SG-VHV members, a check was presented to Mr. Briddell for St. James Lodge #71, by Mr. Haywood and several of the SG-VHV Team.
