On Friday, November 7th, SG-VHV hosted our 2nd Annual Veterans Day Golf Tournament.
It's was just great to see so many people support this event. For the second year in a row our SG-VHV Members and Local businesses made this a very special day. A lot of hard work goes into this tournament but it's all worth it, the players & the volunteers are the highlight of the event.
Everyone wants to hoist the the 1st Place Trophy but all are excited about being apart of this event to ensure the families have a wonderful Thanksgiving. SG-VHV will provide 350+ Thanksgiving baskets for families in Killeen, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights and Nolanville that would otherwise may not have a Thanksgiving dinner. With the donations from area sponsors & golfers this was made possible.
Thank you to all the Golf teams (golfers) who teed off on Friday morning (Nov 7, 2014) to kick-off the Veterans Day Activities in honor of veterans in a tournament at the Hills of Cove Golf Course in Copperas Cove, Texas.
